Today Sesame Street turns 40 years old! So I would like for all of you to join me in saying Happy Birthday to the world's most famous street:
Happy birthday Big Bird, Bert and Ernie, Cookie Monster, Elmo, Snuffleupagus, Count, Oscar, and the many other residents! Here's to many more years of teaching us our ABCs and learning to count!

I recently heard of something incredibley strange in the Land Down Under...a farmer in Queensland had found the bones of a Megalania (aka, the "Giant Ripper Lizard"...it's like the Komodo Dragon...but 20-25 feet long! ) on his land...and here's the scary bit: When examined, the bones were dated to be 300 years old...in spite of the fact that Megalania had supposedly gone extinct 40,000 years ago!

Just imagine...a larger version of the Komodo Dragon...same aggression, same killing tactic (a mouth full of deadly bacteria that causes severe blood poisoning when violently introduced to a victim's bloodstream)...a monster lizard like that, that terrorized the Aborigines when they first came to Australia...
