Hello everyone! Here are the entries for the Don't Dream Too Far contest submitted by GillianLeigh.
"1. Evangelos Ilmi

I chose that name because you said he sometimes wishes to be evil: The first to letters of each name create that word: Ev & Il
BUT he has also the word ‘angel’ in it which I bet makes him furious.
Second thought: All his friends maybe would call him just ‘Ilmi’ because those vocals make that name very cute and so this would fit with the ‘clumsy’.
All in all this is a very soft name and someone who believes that our given names influence our personality would think that this name is maybe a good choice.

2. Ignatius Agua
The first is Latein and means: fire
The second one is Spanish and means of course: water

Here again, those two names would be contradictory. That man is torn between his clumsy-good-watery-side and his desired-bad-evil-firey-side.
When somebody would call him ‘Iggy’ I think he would hate it because he wants a name which sounds not like a baby-nickname
Last but not least: If that guy is a Munchkin I think that name would fit because they are a bit old-fashioned as well

3. Adeel Wisbed – my third thought but I think it’s not the best one

A deal with the bad – this is how his name sounds quite a bit.
Further more: a dee has something to do with physics – maybe you can use this as well. Perhaps his father has sth to do with it.
Ade is often used as good-bye or farewell. If he dies it would be funny sentence: Ade Adeel.
Aaahm… what more?
Aw, yes: Adel means in German nobility – who knows? Maybe he is from a noble family.
And again: Addy would be a cute nickname which – I guess again – he would not prefer (;

4. Oswin/Oswine/Oswhine Thealy
That name has many possibilities.
1) ‘Os’ could be related to ‘Oz’ – maybe this could be like in the middle-ages: You choose the name for your child by whom is ruling the country or has ruled it.
2) osWIN would fit the aspect of choosing a name by it’s ruler. Oz wins.
3) osWINE – maybe his mother loved wine or the had a wineplanatage or whatever
4) osWHINE – as a baby he could have been always whining or crying and this could be now a perfect chance to show up that is weak side shows up everywhere he goes because of his name…
5) Thealy – seal could be related to the harbour seal – here is the clumsy again.
6) or it could be related to seely – because he is fragile
7) ooor ‘silly’ … here is the clumsy-aspect again."

And here is why she created those names:
"Maybe you think I am out of my mind here but I just wanted to say that I did not create this names because I so damn wanted to be in your fanfic as a character.
I created those names for you because I think you are really taking care in writing and creating that story and you just deserve it that someone acknowledges you work!"
